The festival/homecoming parade is sponsored
and organized by McFarland's local Optimist Club.
The parade is the highlight of festival
weekend, featuring local school bands, plenty of youth organizations, and,
of course, homecoming floats.
With close to 5,000 enthusiastic spectators
lined up along the parade route, it's a great way to promote your business
or organization.
 Entrance fees:
- $50 for businesses
- $100 for political candidates and
parties and/or causes
There is no fee for not-for-profit civic,
youth and community-based organizations and clubs, as determined by the
McFarland Optimist Club volunteers.
The parade route runs north to south
through the village, starting near Christ the King church and ending by the
festival grounds at the McFarland High School.
