PARADE Check
back the Summer of 2008
Interested groups/units should contact
the Optimist Club parade organizers to be assigned a spot in the parade.
You must return the bottom portion of the Application
Our local cable Channel 12 will tape this
year's parade for delayed broadcast during the week following the
Festival. Please return your Television
Narrative All owners of motorized vehicles used in the Parade must provide a copy of their certificate of insurance stating insurance carrier, policy number, liability limits, and policy terms with the entry form. There will be a $100 entrance fee for political candidates, parties, and/or causes, $50 fee for commercial entries, and no fees for non-profit, municipal, and youth groups. If you submit a reservation after August 24, 2007, you will automatically be placed at the end of the Parade. You will receive confirmation, a map of the Parade route, your entry number, and a copy of the Parade rules by September 14, 2007.
