MEMBER/SPONSOR It takes a community to run the McFarland Family Festival, Inc. (MFFI). Thanks to the generous sponsorships of local businesses, and many volunteers, the annual Family Festival has enjoyed 23 years of success. Become a Member Have you attended or participated in the annual McFarland Family Festival in any of its past 23 years? Would you like to see it return next year? If so, there are two ways you can help it continue.
They are allowing us to offer a reserved "Members Only" train ride to our Friends of the McFarland Family Festival. This means members will be guaranteed a ticket (maximum of five per membership) for that ride! Although the time has not yet been announced, you can check back at this website to see when it will be. Secondly, McFarland residents are needed who can offer their time and efforts to this longstanding event by helping to plan and coordinate as members of the Board of Directors. Without additional Board members to share the planning responsibilities, the Festival may not continue after this year. If you are willing to be a Board member for next year, please contact the Festival office by phone (838-3378) or email at info@mcfarlandfamilyfestival.org. Have your Business sponsor an event Businesses are encouraged to consider sponsoring specific Festival activities. The success of the McFarland Family Festival depends on dedicated McFarland residents who donate countless hours to plan and execute this community-wide, cross-generational festivity. Volunteers are always needed to help with a variety of tasks before, during and after the event. Whether your skill and interest involves stuffing envelopes, designing brochures and posters, staffing a booth, making phone calls, or helping clean up after the event, we could use your help! MFFI has a Board of Directors that plans every aspect of the Festival. We meet weekly from April through September, and then monthly through the rest of the year. If your commitment to the Festival runs deep, if you share our vision for a community-based alcohol-free event, please contact our president, Randy Raasch, through the MFFI office.
