local groups. The competition will be held between 9:00pm and
11:00pm. Cost is $3 at the door.

Last year's event was a huge success--drawing
three bands and over 150 fans. We plan to award a cash
prize for each participating band.
Application Process:
The deadline for application was August
20, 2007.
Here's how the evening will work:
- The event will start at 9:00pm and end
when the prizes have been awarded (no later than 11:30pm).
- A $3 cover will be charged to all but
the band members to help pay the cost of the facility, equipment rental,
setup and takedown, and prizes.
- Seven people will be randomly selected
before the first band plays. They can judge which band is the best,
based on such criteria as musical style, performance, expression, etc.
We will provide a rating sheet. The criteria are up to them.
- One cash prize of $100 will be awarded
to the leader of the winning band at the end of the evening. Other
prizes will be awarded according to the votes cast.
- Festival staff will not tolerate
activity that harms any of the participants or causes damage to the
facility or equipment.
